If you answered yes, SoapCon Confidential is for you! SoapCon Confidential is a 3 day event located in featuring experts in the industry teaching you the hard stuff, one to one. Soapcon Confidential is everything you love about soapcon including free lunches, all day snack bar and drinks, evening social, camaraderie, swag bags and door prizes. I guess you could say it’s a mini SoapCon (mini in number of attendees but certainly not mini in worth). We are not replacing SoapCon but rather offering a few weekend intensive workshops throughout the year for you to learn just a little bit more. What makes it “confidential” is the connection and personalized assistance you receive from the guest speakers. This and also, all the attendees spend 2 full days making product! |
SoapCon Confidential: Liquid Soap Comprehensive
Our first SoapCon Confidential held March 6th-8th, 2020, will be focused on Liquid Soapmaking (yup, we chose the hardest first). All attendees will create no-paste liquid soap and shower gel. You will not only create your own but you will learn to neutralize it, color it, scent it and bottle it for resale. If you have ever attempted this successfully from start to sale, kudos to you! But for the other 99.9% of fledging liquid soapmakers it rarely turns out as expected. Did your oils separate? Color morphed? Scent thickened/thinned the soap? Are you part of this struggle? We want you to learn from the best so we are bringing in Jackie Thompson, who literally wrote the book on the topic, Liquid Soapmaking: Tips, Techniques and Recipes for Creating All Manner of Liquid and Soft Soap Naturally!. Jackie’s comprehensive knowledge on liquid soapmaking is unrivaled by anyone in the industry. She will dedicate her time and attention to you for a weekend of intensive learning and problem solving.
